For Graduating Members of the Midwest Color Guard Circuit
All graduating members of the MWCGC are encouraged to submit their application for one of the seven scholarships offered, including:
- Midwest Color Guard Scholarship (2)
- McCormicks' Scholarship (2)
- Al & Shea Memorial Scholarship
- Cavaliers Scholarship
- Felton Harlan Memorial Scholarship
- Larry Bakko Memorial Scholarship
- Dot Dahnke Memorial Scholarship
Please fill out the MWCGC Scholarship Application and submit three letters of recommendation to apply. Deadline February 27, 2025.

Age-Out Certificate
Unit Directors need to complete the Age Out Certificate Form for all graduating HS Seniors from a Scholastic guard, anyone aging out of an Independent RA/IA/IO unit, and/or 8th graders aging out of an Independent or Scholastic Cadet guard. Deadline February 27, 2025.
Commander's Medallion Award
The Commander’s Medallion Award is for Outstanding Leadership to Unit, Director, and Community. The Commander’s Medallion is presented annually at the MWCGC Championship Contest. Only Unit Directors may submit nominees. Letters received after the deadline will not be considered by the scholarship committee. Deadline February 27, 2024.
Outstanding Rookie Award
The OUTSTANDING ROOKIE AWARD is presented to a first-year Marching Member, new to the winter guard activity, who exhibits outstanding growth of skills, understanding, and commitment to the responsibilities of membership and dedication to the winter guard activity. Those eligible include any marching member of any unit belonging to the Midwest Color Guard Circuit. The OUTSTANDING ROOKIE AWARD is presented annually at the MWCGC Championship Contest. Only Unit Directors may submit nominees. Deadline February 27, 2025.
